London Fashion Week Ashish S/S 2010
The Ashish girl will be outfitted in sequins, sequins and more sequins.
There were kitschy Hawaiian shirts and hibiscus-printed bermuda shorts sequined to the seams and the tourist phrases like “Italians do it better” and “I get around” were suddenly tongue-in-cheek when whipped up in sparkly embellishment.
The Topshop designer also debuted a collaboration with Nike and the simple shaped t-shirt dresses were sequined versions of “Just Do It” and the Nike “swoosh” logo that were paired with mini-skirts and in one instance, a kitschy pair of “soccer” shorts– the shorts had the pattern of a soccer ball.
